Steel Doors

Wrought Iron Entry Doors

Hand-forged wrought iron entry doors built to handle Texas weather while anchoring the look of a home. Custom-fabricated at our Austin shop.

Wrought Iron Entry Doors

Our wrought iron entry doors are hammered, welded, and finished by fabricators who have been doing this work for decades. We use 12- to 14-gauge cold-rolled steel for the frames and solid iron bar stock for the decorative work — no hollow tubing, no thin gauge shortcuts.

What goes into every door

  • Fully welded frame with optional continuous thermal break
  • 1″ insulated low-E glass, tempered as standard
  • Ball-bearing hinges rated for doors up to 250 lbs
  • Powder-coat finish over zinc-rich primer for long-term corrosion protection
  • Optional clavos, scrollwork, ornamental grilles, and custom glass patterns

Where they fit

Wrought iron entry doors pair well with Tuscan, Mediterranean, Spanish Colonial, and modern farmhouse homes throughout Central Texas. The thermally broken frames also perform in our climate — interior frame surfaces stay near room temperature even when the outside face is absorbing 100°F afternoon sun.

Customization

Standard sizes run up to 48″ × 96″ for singles and 96″ × 108″ for doubles. Bring drawings if you need something outside those ranges — we shop-draw and confirm every detail before steel is cut. Finishes include matte black, aged bronze, satin silver, and any RAL color. Glass options range from clear to seedy, rain, reeded, and custom leaded patterns.
