Steel Windows

Steel Casement Windows

Side-hinged casement windows that crank open for full ventilation. The most-used operable window we sell.

Steel Casement Windows

A casement window is hinged on one vertical side and swings outward like a door. You open it with a crank or a push handle. Fully open, a casement catches side breezes a sliding window can’t — the sash acts like a sail.

Why we sell more casements than any other operable

  • Tightest seal of any operable window (hardware pulls the sash against a compression gasket)
  • Full sash clears the opening when open — maximum airflow
  • Clean, minimalist look with no sill lip or rail divide
  • Egress-compliant for bedrooms at the right sizing

Build

  • 14-gauge welded steel sash and frame
  • 2-1/4″ frame profile, 1-3/8″ sash
  • Insulated low-E dual-pane glass, argon-filled
  • Maco or Roto hardware with lifetime mechanical warranty
  • Stainless steel friction hinges rated for continuous Gulf-coast humidity

Standard sizes

  • Single casement: 24″ × 48″ up to 36″ × 72″
  • Paired casement (French-style): 48″ × 60″ up to 72″ × 72″
  • Custom sizes to structural limits

Screens

Roll-down interior screens are standard (since the sash swings out). Optional motorized screens on larger units.

Where they fit

Kitchens (crank opens easily over a sink), bedrooms (egress), bathrooms, and any spot where maximum airflow matters.
