Lakeway’s elevation and lake exposure mean higher sustained winds than most of Austin. Our operable doors and windows are tested to 50 mph wind-driven rain and use multi-point hardware that compresses against continuous gaskets. Fixed glass is argon-filled dual-pane low-E standard; we spec tempered laminated on anything over 8 feet per code.
